I don’t know if you’re anything like me, but I’m always reading some educational/spiritual book and browsing Pinterest for blogs to help me learn how to be a more efficient, loving, organized, dedicated mom/wife/ sister/ friend, or whatever. Continue reading
Then Joshua said to the Israelites, “In the future, your children will ask, ‘What do these stones mean?’ Then you can tell them, ‘This is where the Israelites crossed the Jordan river on dry ground.’ For the Lord your God dried up the river right before your eyes, and he kept it dry until you were all across, just as he did at the Red Sea when he dried it up until we had all crossed over. He did this so that all the nations of the earth might know the power of the Lord, and that you might fear the Lord your God forever.” Joshua 4: 21-24
Sometime ago I felt the Lord talking to me about the power of telling our children what He has done for us. Continue reading
A while ago I read the book “Crazy Love” by Francis Chan and I’m pretty sure I felt the Holy Spirit leading me to read it for just one page out of the 175.
On page 133 he writes “we are consumed by safety. Obsessed with it, actually…We’ve elevated safety to the neglect of whatever God’s best is…” Continue reading

I had my third baby on September 4, 2015!
Some people love pregnancy, but I do not! It’s long, uncomfortable and then it ends with painful labor.

How about an Adulterer and a Murderer? Continue reading
A while ago I read Kris Vallotton’s book “Spirit Wars.” In it he shared a few stories about growing up with his grandpa. One story was his grandpa had gotten him a hammer and after a few days of nailing every nail in site he decided to build a go-kart.
To build this go-kart he used the wheels off the lawn mower and wood from the siding of the shop.Continue reading
When I was in ministry school there was a lot of talk about changing the world.
And I was fired up. I was going to change the world.
I wanted to go to Las Vegas and see healing for women in the sex industry. I felt that if “where sin abounds grace abounds all the more” than Sin City is really Grace City and I wanted to see, and be a part, of that transformation.
Little did I know God had different plans.Continue reading
The other night my son asked me to cuddle him after I put him in bed. So I climbed in bed and snuggled him tight. He quickly fell asleep and I was so tempted to drift off to sleep as well, but the house was a disaster and I knew I needed to pick up. Continue reading
